 Starcare Pillows

Star Home Textiles supplies the Starcare pillows throughout hospitals and nursing homes in both Quensland and New South Wales. The Starcare pillow offers your patient both a comfortable and hygienic rest. 

We have been manufacturing pillows for the Healthcare Industry for 15 years. The Starcare Range of pillows offers a pillow that will outlast other pillows on the market by 5 times and they are very easy to maintain.

Starcare pillows are made specifically for the Healthcare Industry. They are self deodorising, self sanitising, stain resistant, and non allergenic and they don't rustle like the morning paper, keeping everyone awake at night.

The cover fabric is perforated with tiny holes that allows air to escape freely but keeps fluids out. The side seams of the cover are heat sealed and the 'closing off' seam is sealed with tape and then sewn to ensure it is fluid proof. It is also fire retardant.

The fibre fill used to fill the pillow is also fire retardant.

Maintenance is easy. A simple wipe over with warm soapy water is probably all you'll ever need to do.

The 73 x 46cm Starcare pillow is available in 3 Types-

• Starcare Poly Pillow - Soft yet comfortable. 100% Polyester Fibre Filled.
• Starcare Foam Core Pillow - Foam core encased in Polyester Fibre for extra support.
• Starcare Low Profile Pillow - Low Pillow. Ideal for using in the operating theatre and chlidren's wards.

Starcare Love U Pillows - This popular U shaped pillow is available in the Starcare fabric so that your patients can have that extra support and comfort when sitting up in bed. Available in 2 Sizes -

• Starcare Love U Regular Pillow

The Starcare Buddy Pillows measure 150 x 45cm. The Buddy pillow can be used to comfortably support backs, legs, arms and pregnant tummies. They are available in 2 types -

• Starcare Buddy Poly Pillow - 100% Polyester Fibre Fill.
• Starcare Buddy Foam Core Pillow - Added Foam Core for Extra Support.

Pillowcases are available for the Love U and Buddy Pillows.
